Overview

Özyeğin University Couple and Family Center (ÖzÜÇAM) was established in February 2017 as a training, application and research center for Psychology master degree program with sub-branch of Couple and Family Therapy. Our center is open to ÖzÜ students and university staff and also any individuals outside of the university. Individual, couple and family therapy, play therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation, psychological assessment and tests are provided in ÖzÜÇAM.

One of the main goals of ÖzÜÇAM is providing therapy service for individuals, couples and families who come from low and middle economic status. ÖzÜÇAM aims to do scientific and societal contributions by providing accessible couple and family therapy services for the community. In addition to this, ÖzÜÇAM aims to be a center conducting research projects, providing certificated training programs in couple and family therapy, providing psychoeducation for individual and relational growth.

In ÖzÜÇAM, students of Özyeğin University Psychology master degree program with sub-branch of Couple and Family Therapy provide therapy under intensive supervision of clinical faculty members of the department.

Özyeğin University Psychology master degree program with sub-branch of Couple and Family Therapy (Thesis Track and Non-Thesis Track) is an accredited training program approved by the "International Accreditation Commission for Systemic Therapy Education" of International Family Therapy Association (IFTA). Psychology master degree program with sub-branch of Couple and Family Therapy (Non-Thesis Track) is the second program meets the basic criteria for accreditation in Turkey. Psychology master degree program with sub-branch of Couple and Family Therapy (Thesis Track) is the first and only program that meets the criteria for accreditation in Turkey.
