Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Student Elif Başak Şişman Receives Support from TÜSEB A-1 Program

Elif Başak Şişman, an undergraduate student in the Mechanical Engineering Program at Özyeğin University, has been awarded a grant support under the 2025-A1-01 Program of the Health Institutes of Türkiye (Türkiye Sağlık Enstitüleri Başkanlığı – TÜSEB). Elif Başak Şişman will work on her project, entitled “Development of a Tactile Feedback Glove for Enhanced Tissue Differentiation in Tumors,” under the supervision of both Prof. Mehmet Burçin Ünlü, Dean of the Faculty of Aviation and Aeronautical Sciences and Dr. Defne Yılmaz, at the Medical and Biological Physics Laboratory at Özyeğin University.
