Memorandum of Understanding on “Accor Management Training Program” Signed Between Özyeğin University and Accor

Özyeğin University and Accor, Europe’s largest hospitality and tourism group, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the “Accor Executive Training Program.” This innovative program aims to strengthen the ties between academia and the tourism and hospitality industry, equip students in the tourism and hospitality sectors with international-standard management skills to embark on global career journeys with a solid foundation, and accelerate their paths to managerial roles. Reflecting the aims of the initiatives, which are to promote the potential of the hospitality industry support different disciplines at universities, and develop new opportunities, the program will involve redesigning a hotel room in the Center of Excellence at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Özyeğin University as part of a student project competition. The competition will be organized under the support and coordination of the Accor Turkey architecture office and the supervision of Özyeğin University Hotel Management and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Programs faculty members.

This significant collaboration was formalized during a signing ceremony on December 20, 2024, and attended by Özyeğin University President Prof. Barış Tan; Mehmet Teoman Alemdar, Founding Director of the School of Applied Sciences at Özyeğin University; Sinan Köseoğlu, Accor Turkey Vice President of Operations, and Çiğdem Özdemir, Accor Turkey Talent & Culture Director.
